Swim Platform at Vickery Resort
You don't have to leave Vickery Resort to enjoy the waters of Table Rock. Just walk down from your home away from home and plunge right off the swimming deck located on the private boat dock right behind the resort. The beach area allows you to bask in the sun and work on your tan. Or let the kids splash around in Vickery Resorts pool while you relax poolside.
Designated Swimming Areas
Designated "swimming zones" can be found all over Table Rock Lake and are recognizable by the floating rope surrounding the actual swimming area. Some of the more popular swimming areas on Table Rock include:
- Moonshine Beach - This public swim beach is located on the north side of Table Rock Dam just minutes from Vickery Resort. Amenities include volleyball, a sand beach, picnic shelter, boat launch and outdoor showers. There is a per car use fee charged for this day use only park.
- Long Creek Park - Located on the Long Creek arm of Table Rock, this campground also features a swim beach accessible with a small area use fee. Just 20 minutes from Vickery Resort.
- Table Rock State Park - Just minutes from Vickery Resort, this 350+ acre park offers numerous picnic areas perfect for the family get together. Along there is no designated swimming area at the park, you can swim and wade from many places on the shore.

Table Rock Lakeshore Trail
This beautiful 2.2 mile trail runs down the shoreline of Table Rock Lake extending from the Dewey Short Visitor Center to Table Rock State Park. The trail is fully accessible by wheelchair and bike and boasts wonderfuls views of Table Rock.
Dogwood Canyon Nature Canyon
This 2,200 acre park is the outdoor lover's paradise. Located about 30 miles for Vickery Resort, this is the perfect day trip for those in your group wanting to commune with nature. The park offers 6.5 miles of hiking and biking trails, horseback riding and fly-fishing classis.
Scuba Diving in Table Rock Lake
For those who enjoy the wildlife and scenery below the water, Table Rock boasts a variety of interesting dive sites including an underwater forest and a double-decked excursion boat wreck. The State Park Marina even offers various types of scuba courses and certifications as well as scuba equipment rental.
